How to develop friendship as guys in my 30's? I hate this to be one of the many numerous men here explaining this same empty feeling story, but I would, and my apologies in advance for this.

I am currently 31 years old and I do not have a hard life by all means and I do grow up lucky to live comfortably. However, I can't stop shaking this feeling that I am missing something or I am missing out so much in life. I firmly believe that it stems from me being so lonely and don't have a core group of friends. The last time I actually have some kind of strong commodity was in high school and that was about 15 years ago. I struggled in retaining meaningful friendships throughout my twenties and never established anything with anyone. I do not believe that I am a mean or offputting person by all means as I can handle a conversation and people I have spoken to who were honest said I'm fine, just a bit awkward. However, I can't ever evolve anything beyond that as 1) the person turned out worse or 2) that person has no interest in keeping in touch. I have put some effort into it by reaching out and inviting them to some events, but I never have any takers or they can't go and never reschedule. From that point on and as patiently, I never able to do much in life and was basically a homebody the whole time and I feel so much frustration from that. I understand the answer is being myself and I am, but sometimes, being myself may not drove any interest from anyone. It is tough because I do yearn for being social and it is what keeps me feeling alive. Now, in my 30s, how can I find these groups of meaningful friends? Sometimes, I would like someone I could rely on. tl,dr: In my early 30s, struggle to make friends in my 20s and would like to find those people in my 30s to not rehashed my 20s again.
