There's a funny change of mood in Los Santos this week. For once, it isn't all about robbing vaults, dodging missiles, or getting wiped out by someone on a flying bike. Rockstar has added three new Odd Jobs, and they're paying double GTA$ and RP, so even players sitting on stacked garages or spare GTA V Accounts have a reason to slow down and try something different. It feels more grounded, in a good way. You're still in GTA Online, of course, so things can go sideways fast, but these jobs give the city a bit of working-day flavour.
Odd Jobs feel better than expected
The Firefighter work is the one most players will probably test first. You grab a fire truck, rush across town, put out fires, and pull people out of trouble. There are even cats to save, which is ridiculous, but it works. If you want something quieter, the Forklift Operator job at the Alpha Mail warehouse is oddly relaxing. Move crates, line up pallets, keep the place running. It's not glamorous, but that's sort of the point. The Paper Route for the Los Santos Meteor is the easiest of the bunch to settle into. Drive, deliver, keep moving. Do five Odd Jobs and you'll unlock the Downtown Cab Co. Revere Collar Shirt, though it may take up to 72 hours to show up.
MC businesses are worth babysitting
If you care more about money than novelty, check your Cocaine Lockup. Production speed is doubled this week, which means stock builds much faster than usual. Keep supplies topped up and don't let the business sit idle. A lot of players forget how much cash these lockups can pull in when the bonuses line up properly. It's also a good time to buy in if you haven't yet, since Cocaine Lockup properties are 40% off until February 4th. That discount makes the setup cost sting a lot less, especially for newer players trying to get steady passive income going.
Side activities are paying nicely
There's more than one way to make money this week. RC Time Trials, Issi Classic Races, and the Community Race Series are all handing out double rewards, so racers have plenty to do. Taxi Work is also paying double GTA$, which makes those short fares feel less like a waste of time. It won't beat a huge sale mission, sure, but it's easy cash when you don't want a full grind session. Sometimes that's all you need. Jump in, run a few fares, maybe hit a race, then go back to your businesses once the stock is ready.
Pizza runs and discounts are the real easy wins
The Pizza Delivery challenge is probably the cleanest payout on the list. Complete five deliveries and you'll get a $300,000 bonus plus the “Pizza This” Tee, and with triple rewards active, the cash stacks up fast for very little effort. Don't forget to claim the free Pegassi Pizza Boy bike while you're at it. Vehicle discounts are also solid, with 30% off picks like the Fire Truck and Pegassi Zorrusso. The Gun Van has a few decent cuts too, especially for GTA+ members chasing a cheaper Military Rifle buy GTA V Accounts. If you're building up a fresh character or comparing ways to buy cheap GTA V Accounts for a faster start, this is the kind of bonus week that makes Los Santos feel busy without being exhausting.
